Probe Station

A probe station is a tool used to measure the electrical properties of microelectronic devices. It allows precise observation and measurement of device inputs and outputs that are too small to be seen with the naked eye. Whether working with wafers, glass, or MEMS, a probe station is essential for conducting these measurements. To function effectively, the station must be equipped with a microscope and micropositioners. Once integrated, these components enable users to accurately position probes on their devices and use electronic meters to obtain measurement results.

Conditions of Use:

The probe station and its accessories is situated in the shared probe station lab (MC B4 196) and can be used through the reservation system.

Only trained people can use this equipment.
