Overview and mission

The School Assembly belongs to the structure of the School, in the same way as the management, the central bodies and the teaching and research units. It is the governance body for participation within EPFL. Its main task is to manage and ensure the proper functioning of participation within the School.

The EPFL Assembly is composed of 16 members representing the four bodies of the School (teaching body, intermediate body, students body and administrative and technical body) as well as a president, an administrative assistant and a representative of the EPFL and ETHZ School Assemblies on the ETH Board.

This mandate covers a period of 2 years (1 year for students).

Calendar

The AE meets once a month with a member of the Executive Board. The AE also conducts video conferences with the ETHZ every two months in order to prepare CEPF sessions. In addition, it is invited to the DIALOG meeting once a year with CEPF members.

The AE regularly informs EPFL members about ongoing consultations, and also organizes conferences on topics of general interest.
