EPFL’s Center for Learning Sciences (LEARN) aims to contribute to the excellence of the Swiss education system and to the digital transformation of our society.

Inaugurated by Pierre Vandergheynst and with Francesco Mondada as its Director, EPFL’s Center for Learning Sciences (LEARN) aims to contribute to the excellence of the Swiss education system and to the digital transformation of our society.

LEARN drives translational research on digital education and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). It also facilitates collaborations across every stakeholder involved in the country’s educational value chain whilst promoting the integration of several research and deployment actions.

These include the deployment of Thymios, educational robots to support children in their programming skills and learning of robotics.
