Mediacom ‒ Presidency ‐ EPFL

Mediacom is EPFL’s communications unit. It is responsible for keeping the general public informed of developments at the School and the research conducted here.

Our four teams, guided by a unified strategy, manage EPFL’s internal and external communications and university events .

The MEC team creates and distributes internal and external communications, manages press relations and social media content, and assesses media-related risks and opportunities.

The team is also in charge of the annual report and Dimensions, and it manages EPFL’s online presence through the School’s website and social media accounts.

The MEV team is responsible for organizing EPFL events on campus, elsewhere in Switzerland and further afield. It also processes all internal and external event-related requests and manages EPFL’s main reception desk and guided tours.

Head of MEV: Maureen Décosterd

The MCV team is responsible for EPFL’s visual communications and brand identity. It also develops the School’s official communication materials.
