MAKE projects

A growing number of MAKE projects address sustainability issues or even prioritize sustainability as a core element of their objectives (as below). MAKE projects are cross-disciplinary projects designed to give students hands-on experience solving real-world problems, helping them improve their technical knowledge, teamwork and project management skills. These projects combine education, research and innovation and involve hundreds of students each year.

  • Aether: Harvest the unlimited power of wind through innovative kite systems
  • Carbon removal: Explore carbon capture technologies
  • Genorobotics: Accelerate biodiversity identification and referencement
  • rebuilT: Reuse, biosourced & Low Tech construction
