Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Experimental Physical or Analytical Chemistry

EPFL is a leading university with strong emphasis on basic sciences, engineering and life sciences. Research within its Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC) includes synthetic, biological, physical, analytical, and theoretical chemistry as well as chemical engineering.

ISIC at EPFL invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in Experimental Physical or Analytical Chemistry.

Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, the development of new methods for characterisation of molecules or materials, potentially in relation to applications in quantum sensing and information processing, molecular magnetism, spin chemistry, renewable energy conversion and storage, or sustainable chemical production.

We seek candidates with an outstanding research record, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a demonstrated potential for leadership within ISIC and the broader chemistry community.

As a faculty member of the School of Basic Sciences, the successful candidate is expected to initiate and develop a creative research program at the forefront of the discipline. Significant start-up resources, research budget and state-of-the-art research infrastructure are available. Salaries and benefits are internationally competitive.
