Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering*

Research within its Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC) takes a leading role in all aspects of chemistry and chemical engineering including research at the interface of biology and physics as well as in sustainability and nanoscience.

ISIC at EPFL invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in chemical engineering.

Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, applications in renewable energy conversion and storage, sustainable chemical production systems and control, separations, food engineering, catalysis, or biotechnology.

We seek candidates with an outstanding research record, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a demonstrated potential for leadership within ISIC and the broader chemistry and chemical engineering communities.

As a faculty member of the School of Basic Sciences, the successful candidate is expected to initiate and develop a creative research program at the forefront of the discipline. Significant start-up resources, research budget (including a fixed annual budget for salaries and consumables), and state-of-the-art research infrastructure are available.
