Flute quartet: The members of this quartet met at a Chamber Music Saturday organized by the AUMC at Dorigny. All four are students or recent graduates in scientific fields. Sonja is an Erasmus student at EPFL’s Institute for Environmental Engineering. Andrea just finished his Master’s degree at UNIGE after a Bachelor’s in life sciences at EPFL. Thomas just started a Master’s in EPFL’s School of Life Sciences. And Gabriel received his Master’s degree from EPFL’s Electrical Engineering Institute and is currently in the second year of his PhD thesis.
Trio for clarinette, horn, and piano: Thomas and Emmanuel are both Master’s students at EPFL, enrolled in the new EPFL Middle East program, and Florence is a student at UNIL.
Trio for violin, cello, and piano: The members of this trio met years ago when their paths crossed at EPFL. Andréa was a Bachelor’s student in life sciences, Carlo was pursuing his PhD in theoretical physics, and Gabriel was a Bachelor’s/Master’s student in electrical engineering. Since December 2012, the trio held numerous public performances in Fribourg, Geneva, and Neuchâtel. Gabriel earned an amateur diploma from the Conservatory of Fribourg, Andrea holds a superior degree from the Pully Music School, and Carlo has a professional diploma as a pianist from the Conservatory of Bergamo, Italy.
Trio for soprano, cello and piano: Mandira is a doctoral assistant at UNIL’s faculty of litterature. Arnaud is a Master’s student in physic at EPFL and Carlo obtained a doctorate in theoretical physic at EPFL in 2012 and works actually in the EPFL Innovation Park.
