Salle Polyvalente EPFL
Tuesday May 12 from noon to 1:00 p.m.
The Geneva Brass Quintet will take you on a journey across a varied musical landscape, from Johann Sebastian Bach to Ennio Morricone.
They will open with an excerpt from the Goldberg Variations, one of the greatest masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, which is characterized by its highly mathematical composition. Then, the adventure will continue from one mood to another, with film music by Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in the West, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, among others), a local stop in Switzerland with our alphorn virtuoso, a pinch of Klezmer, without forgetting a splash of Chicago, the Broadway musical.
Join us for an eclectic hour and discover the sweet sounds and expressive diversity of the Brass Family.
The Geneva Brass Quintet:

- Lionel Walter, trumpet
