Let’s start again with another jazzy week at EPFL ! Midday breaks are musical and the Rolex Forum receives big names of Jazz music at the end of the day on Thursday.

EVERY MIDDAY BREAKS:
The JATP invites again ensembles of music students from the EJMA (Jazz and Modern Music School of Lausanne) to perform on the central place of EPFL.
The groups of musicians are gathered for the occasion and offer a nice range of styles.

This year the JATP week is the same asDance Week (organised by DanceSquare, an association from EPFL) and Dance Day(organised by the AVDC in all parts of Switzerland).

ROLEX FORUM

Prestige-concert with « Tribute to the Jazz Crusaders »
The Jazz Crusaders is a legendary group acclaimed in the 60s and 70s for its innovative combinations around Hard-Bop, Funk and Soul music. The ensemble that is invited, composed of 4 musicians of international reputation, pays tribute to this group by adding a touch of modernity.
The ensemble is composed of :
- Kelvin Sholar, piano
- Fuasi Abdul Khaliq, tenor saxophone
- Charles Sammons, double bass
- Eric Vaughn, drums
