Directed by Fruzsina Szuromi, the Lausanne University Choir will perform an enchanting a musical midday lunch break Christmas Concert at EPFL.

The Lausanne University Choir was founded in 1947 by the composer and conductor Carlo Hemmerling (originally from the Canton de Vaud) who was inspired by the chaplain Edouard Mauris. Since its inception, the choir has brought together members of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and from the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL). Directed by renowned conductors such as Charles Dutoit and Michel Corboz and by Jean-Christophe Aubert between 1980 and 2012, the choir begins every season the study of a major work or series of more particular opuses dating from the 17th to the 21st century with dynamism and passion.
