Marketing/ Social media intern

Description of the internship

A marketing intern is urgently needed to help us to raise awareness, generate funds, and communicate with donors and supporters around the world. The role can be short term volunteer or long term paid, depending on the candidate and mutual fit. We are happy to discuss the role in a Zoom call, but the main tasks are to manage social media and website, Create photos/videos and graphics (e.g.: banners, infographics) for social media, websites, and fundraising campaigns,
Develop Marketing Dashboard to Understand Impact of Marketing Function.

Duration of the internship: 3 months is ideal, but 2 months is also sufficient. Stays of 3 to 6 months are welcome, but visas need to be negotiated differently.

Description of the organization

The Baobab Home is a small, community focused NGO located on a 12 acre regenerative farm. We operate an orphanage, a primary school for low income families and cook breakfast at the HIV clinic every morning. We maintain several renewable energy and Zero waste projects and welcome interns from many academic disciplines to work alone or collaboratively.

We are an orphanage, primary school and farm on the coast of Tanzania. Over the years, hundreds of students have come to volunteer and share their skills with us. We have several environmental initiatives on our organic farm. We are looking for creative thinkers in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Social Sciences and more. We welcome interdisciplinary teams of students. We think you will enjoy working with us. We will help you to discover this beautiful country. We can advise you on Kilimanjaro trekking, Safari and Zanzibar tours.
