Are you one of the brave souls leading a double life? Caring for a tiny human by day; writing a thesis by night? Not only do you run experiments and change your manuscripts, but you also run after children and change diapers.
Having children before or during your PhD may seem daunting, but you are not alone! The PhD Parents’ Network aims to bring together individuals just like you to exchange information, experience and advice and to serve as a support network for the times when it feels too challenging. Through regular meetings, you can share your parental triumphs and hardships, discuss policies at EPFL, and maybe even set up play dates for your kids!
If you are interested in meeting other PhD parents, send us an email at [email protected]. The network is open to any EPFL PhD student who is either currently a parent or a parent-to-be during their studies.
