Join SPAN, Xplore and the Institute for Global Negotiation on Wednesday, November 13th, from 17:00 in CE 1 4 at EPFL and on Zoom to talk with Dr Mazlan Othman, a global leader in space science and policy.
Dr Othman was the first astrophysicist of Malaysia, and worked in establishing the Malaysian National Space Agency. She is the former director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, where she led international efforts in space cooperation, space debris prevention, and the use of space-based technologies for sustainable development.
