Diwali is one of the most important festivals in Indian culture. It symbolizes a spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”.
Let us recall that Lord Ram was in isolation from his family in Ayodhya and came back to home after 14 – years (along with wife Sita and brother Laxman) after a victory from evil Ravan. Let’s take a lesson from this chapter and relate that to our current situation. With our combined support, the current lockdown shall not prevail forever and we will emerge from this evil (coronavirus) as a victorious Rama.
Due to the pandemic situation, we could not organise our auspicious event of the year in person. However, we premiered our event online on Zoom and Facebook. All participant performances were recorded in safe and social distance rules prescribed by the Coronavirus Task force (EPFL).
