Antareep Kumar Sarma
President
Antareep is a Doctoral Assistant in the Geo-energy Laboratory of EPFL, specializing in computational geomechanics. His research centers on modeling fluid-driven frictional ruptures in underground geo-energy storage reservoirs. Outside of his academic work, Antareep enjoys singing, traveling, playing sports, and pc games.
Isika Ram
Vice-President
Isika is a Doctoral Assistant in the Department of Immunobiology, at the University of Lausanne. Her research revolves around understanding the role of type 2 cytokines in myeloid cell reprogramming. Apart from Science, Isika enjoys Experimental Gastronomy, Badminton, and Traveling.
Ravinithesh A
Treasurer
Ravinithesh is a 3rd-year PhD student working in human-AI interaction at the Social Computing Group at EPFL and Idiap Institute. He enjoys traveling, cooking, volunteering, and public speaking.
Deepak Somani
Website Manager
Deepak is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at EPFL. He is from Ranchi, and his research focuses on the thermodynamics and kinetics of defects in metal alloys. Outside academics, he enjoys sketching, playing video games, and watching anime. As a core member of YUVA, he also manages this website
Somya Singh
Social Media Manager
Somya is an LL.M. candidate in International Business Law at the University of Lausanne and a licensed attorney in India. Her interest lies in M&A, PE, and Capital Markets. When she’s not buried in due diligence, you can find her on a Basketball court or perfecting her swing on the golf course (on a sunny day, of course!). She occasionally enjoys playing the Piano as well.
Badma Priya

Priya is a 2nd year PhD student in a plant light signaling lab at UNIL. She loves hiking, camping, gardening, and taking her curious cat on adventures.
