Organising an event, looking for sponsors and/or speakers for your conferences – these are all activities that you may have to organise as part of the life of your association. Below you will find valuable information on organising your association event.

Organizing an event

The organisation of student events is a key element in the constant effervescence of our campus. Whether it’s sporting challenges, music festivals, cultural gatherings, eccentric games or discipline-specific events, our campus is always buzzing.

Mediacom Events (MEV) is the service provider responsible for organising events on campus. MEV establishes a link between the School, the community, and external companies and entities. It also coordinates approvals and authorisations with the other departments, monitoring requests and checking that the framework and conditions for organising events are respected.

A dedicated web page is devoted to the specific aspects of organising these events, providing all the information needed to ensure their success, namely :

Please also note that any association wishing to organise an event must take out a “assurance RC” and contact Mediacom Evénements at events@epfl.ch.

Sponsoring and prevention guidelines

A few rules to be aware of.

Sponsorship benefits relating to recruitment or the promotion of the employer brand are not permitted, unless an exception is granted by the Centre de compétences transversales et de carrière (CCTC). Contact the CCTC as soon as you plan to organise an event with a company.
