Point Vélo

• Point Vélo takes care of your bicycles for repairs of all kinds. More than 4,000 services are carried out every year, based on the principles of reuse and recycling.
• Second-hand bikes with lighting kit and lock included (students from CHF 150.-, staff from CHF 200.-).
• New bikes and cycling equipment (helmets, lighting and safety kits, etc.) with discounts of up to 25% off the catalogue price (PDF 6 MB).
• Self-service repair tools and a car wash are available during opening hours.

Every six months, Point Vélo offers free mechanics courses for all levels :

• Initiation : adjusting brakes, gears, repairing and changing inner tubes
• Progression : wheel play and steering, uncapping a wheel and changing a spoke
• Advanced : hydraulic brakes, shifters
• Single-sex classes : the topics covered will range from initiation to progression, according to the wishes of the participants.

• Initiation : Tue 8.10 / Tue 15.10 / Tue 22.10
• Progression : Wed 9.10 / Wed 16.10
• Advanced : Wed 23.10
• Mixed : Thu 17.10
• Schedule : 5pm-7pm
• Number of participants : 12 maximum
• Equipment : you can bring your own bike or learn on the bikes in the workshop, tools and clothes are available.

Your bikes are looked after by a team of 13 students trained at the Point Vélo. In addition to their studies, they spend several hours each week offering a unique service to the EPFL community! See more
