The installation anti-virus software is mandatory on all professional EPFL Windows machines. The procedure is straightforward, requires no user interaction and takes up to 20 minutes to complete. During that time, please make sure that :
- You are connected to the EPFL internal network (directly or through a VPN tunnel),
- The PC is not restarted.
The performance of your machine may be impacted during the installation and you may receive some security warnings from the Windows Security Center (stating that McAfee ENS is outdated).
