As part of the Defense in Depth cybersecurity program, we will be progressively rolling out a new IT asset management software package to all computers used by EPFL staff. This tool offers concrete advantages in terms of security:
- enhanced cybersecurity and therefore better overall protection for our institution: disk encryption, firewall configuration;
- improved support: new remote assistance tool;
- centralized management: automation of software updates;
- technical inventory: monitoring of computer and application lifecycles.
