How to use wireless projection in a meeting room equiped with Cisco videoconference system ?
This option works with two protocols.
Miracast (Windows, Android) and Airplay (Mac and iPhone).
To use it, you should be connected to the school’s WiFi network.
For Windows 11
No application required. Windows Key + K takes you to the activation menu.
For OSX and iOS
No application required. Bluetooth must be switched on. Go to Controls and activate Screen Mirroring
For Android
In Samsung devices, the Smart View application is available as standard on the phone.
Google Pixel phones do not natively support either protocol (Mirascat, Airplay)
For other devices, there are many Miracast applications available on the Google store, but these are generally not free. Castto is an ad-free application
For Linux
There are also protocols adaptations for Linux, which we haven’t tested and don’t have support.
