  • Choose the most appropriate marketing channels for your target audience.
  • Use these channels in a way that’s as eco-friendly as possible.
  • Keep the use of printed materials (posters, event programs, etc.) to a minimum.

Encourage participants to adopt sustainable practices during the event

  • Always list the most sustainable options first.
  • Describe your sustainability measures in your marketing materials. Then, during the event, put up clear, accessible and easy-to-read signs about these measures and the sustainable practices that participants can adopt.

Promote your efforts to hold a sustainable event

  • Certifications → Obtain ISO 20121 Sustainable Events certification for your event.
