1. Commercial enterprises:
- Research contracts: the client has an exclusive right on the results.
- Industrial grants: the client has an option on the results, which allows him to acquire a license.
- Service contracts: contract executed for the client’s needs, with existing knowledge.
- Patronage contract: a contract by which a natural person or legal entity makes a financial contribution to a general purpose, an initiative or a project, without consideration.
- Sponsorship contract: contract by which a natural person or legal entity makes a financial contribution to a project, deriving certain benefits in terms of visibility (such as a reference to the sponsor’s name in the name of a chair or at an event).
- Research grant: a contract by which a natural person or or legal entity makes a financial contribution to a research project, deriving advantages such as a reference to the grantor’s contribution in scientific publications resulting from the supported project and/or from making the results of the project available to the public.
- Donation contracts: patronage contracts, sponsorship contracts and research grants.
2. Non-profit entities such as foundations, offices of the Swiss Confederation, offices from other countries and public authorities:

Financial report
For all the above-mentioned funds, the Controlling Department can help you – upon written request ([email protected]) – to prepare a financial report or revise it, if the client requests it.
