A plugin installed since November 2024 lets you embed a video directly onto a Moodle page.
This feature is aimed at teachers.
Features
- Possibility of embedding videos that you own, co-publish, co-edit in Mediaspace on a Moodle page (in ‘my media’ tab);
- No possibility of embedding a playlist; to add a playlist, simply make a link or copy and paste the code proposed via the ‘share’ button;
- No access to Mediaspace channels from Moodle.
- No possibility of embedding a channel (make a simple link);
- It is not possible to download videos directly from Moodle into the Mediaspace platform;
Actions on videos
- There is only one version of a video, whether on Moodle or Mediaspace;
- Deleting a video deletes it everywhere, including Mediaspace;
- Edit a video (title, description, or operations via the “launch editor” button): these modifications are synchronized on Mediaspace;
- Publish a video: it is not possible to publish a video in your Mediaspace channel;
- Unpublish a video: if you change the status of a video from ‘published’ to ‘private’, this status is also transferred to Mediaspace.
