Place Cosandey, a recently re-developed large outdoor space at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), combines various social functions at the heart of a lively campus. A barbecue grill and its surrounding seating area has become a popular gathering space for students, staff, and visitors. The Canopy pavilion is designed to provide protective shade for a pleasant experience during the hot hours of summer.
