EPFL students
EPFL students who are in their 2nd year of Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and electronic engineering, Mechanical engineering, Microengineering or Civil engineering and who have obtained an overall average of at least 5,0/6 over the first-year cycle (propaedeutic year) may apply at CentraleSupélec for this double degree program.
French students enrolled at EPFL
A quota of five places is reserved for French students enrolled at EPFL, provided that they have not been enrolled at CPGE (Classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles) before their arrival at EPFL.
CentraleSupélec students
CentraleSupélec students who are in their 2nd year of engineering training (formation lngénieur) at CentraleSupélec may apply for any EPFL Master’s program apart from Mathematics, Applied mathematics, Architecture, Nuclear engineering and Cyber security.

EPFL students
- Two years of Bachelor’s degree at EPFL
- Two first years of Cycle ingénieur at CentraleSupélec (according to the list of generic courses, 120 ECTS)
- The whole Master’s degree program at EPFL (120 ECTS, including the industry internship and the Master’s thesis)
CentraleSupélec students
- Two years of Classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles with admission to the Cycle ingénieur at CentraleSupélec following a competitive selection process
- Two years of Cycle ingénieur at CentraleSupélec (corresponding to the Master 1)
- The whole Master’s degree program at EPFL (120 ECTS, including the industry internship and the Master’s thesis)
EPFL
A level of C1 in English is recommended.
CentraleSupélec
A level of at least B1 is needed in French and English in order to begin this program. At the end of the program, a level of C1 in English must be attested by a language certificate.
EPFL students receive the Bachelor’s degree from EPFL at the end of the two years spent at CentraleSupélec.
Students from both institutions who have successfully completed the entire double degree program (Bachelor’s and Master’s level) receive the Diplôme d’ingénieur from CentraleSupélec and the Master’s degree from EPFL.
