This project aims to create a human-machine interface for an exoskeleton to assist with road construction.
Work on road building sites, including the installation of bituminous pavements, requires considerable physical effort. That is why the road construction company Colas has developed a partial exoskeleton with the company Rb3d to help the operator to spread the asphalt.
This project aims to design a human-machine interface capable of assisting and guiding the operator in real time in order to obtain an optimal result.
This six months’ project is managed and supervised by the Robotics Systems Laboratory, headed by Professor Hannes Bleuler. It will be done as a master project.
