The laboratory of Andrea Ablasser at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral fellow wishing to advance her/his research and career prospects. The research focus of the lab is centered on delineating mechanisms of innate DNA recognition – a pivotal sensing strategy during pathogen infection and sterile derangements. The overarching goals of our research are to understand the basic principles of innate DNA sensing and to reveal its role for human health and disease (See recent relevant publications).
We are searching for an ambitious postdoctoral fellow interested in joining our group. The envisioned project is funded by the ERC and requires skills in molecular and cellular biology. Additional experience in biochemistry or advanced cell imaging techniques is appreciated.
