Luca Colasanto received his B.S. and M.S. in Control Systems Engineering from the Politecnico di Bari, Italy in 2007 and 2010 respectively. He then received the doctoral degree from the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in 2014, in the field of Humanoid Robotics. He joined the Biorobotics Laboratory of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland in March 2014 and he is currently postdoctoral researcher.
He is working on the FP7-EU Project Walk-Man. His research interests are: humanoid bipedal locomotion, anthropomorphic hands, compliance actuators, torque control.
