Short Biography
Jessica Lanini got her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Campus Bio-Medico of Rome in 2012.
For her Bachelor’s Thesis she worked at Complex Systems and Security Lab, where she developed the final project ‘Deformable Models and Optimal Mass Transportation for Processing of DCE-MRI 2D Images‘ that was presented at IFAC 2014, Cape Town, South Africa.
She got her Master’s Degree in Bioengineering from Università Campus Bio-Medico of Rome in 2014. Her Master Thesis was ‘Virtual haptic coupling between two ARMin robots‘ and it concerned the realization of a teleoperation control architecture for two exoskeletons for the upper limb rehabilitation. It was developed at Sensory Motor System Lab (SmS), ETH, Zurich thanks to the Erasmus scholarship. The work will be presented at ICORR 2015.
Jessica joined BIOROB-EPFL in February 2015 as Assistant Scientifique, working on CogIMon project. She started her PhD in May 2015.
