Overview
Quadruped Robotics is a research field active in BIOROB for a long time. The main focus lies in the integration of bio-inspired control-paradigms, such as CPGs, and reflex driven approaches with intelligent electro-mechanical embodiments. The robots stemming from these combinations are used as physical simulators, exploring evolution, role of different neuromechanical structures, and their potential benefit in real-world scenarios.
