Short Biography
I received the B.Sc. (2012) and M.Sc. (2014) degrees in environmental science and engineering from EPFL and the M.Sc. degree (2015) in management from University College London, U.K. I then received the Dr.-Ing. degree (2020) in telecommunications from the Technische Universität Braunschweig. My thesis “Predictive vehicle-to-vehicle communications for fuel-efficient platooning” was advised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. T. Kürner.
I joined the Distributed Intelligent Systems and Algorithms Laboratory at EPFL where I worked as Research and Development Engineer with Prof. A. Martinoli. There, I mainly worked on the development, integration and deployment of distributed control and perception algorithms. From 2017 to 2020, I was working at Volkswagen Group Research, Wolfsburg, Germany, in the cooperative systems and communications technologies department, where I was involved in the German funded project 5GNetMobil. In 2020, I joined DB Netz in Berlin, as expert 5G communications for Digital Rail working on the development and standardization of the future railway mobile communications system (FRMCS).
Research Interests and Projects
At DISAL, I was involved in the Cooperative Perception and Autonet2030 projects. My current research interests include adaptive and predictive quality of service for vehicular cooperative systems.
