Short Biography

I am currently a Ph.D. student at DISAL working on 3D odor source mapping. I received my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Digital Electronics and Computer Engineering in 2018 from EPFL. I carried out my Master Thesis at the Intelligent Robotics Group at NASA Ames Research Center, where I worked on applying machine learning techniques on SUPERball, a next generation NASA rover. I received my B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering in 2015 from Politecnico di Milano. More information about me can be found in the following:

Research Interests and Projects

My research interests include robotics, embedded systems, networking, multi-robot systems and machine learning. The main focus of my research is to map a source of odor in a three-dimensional space using flying robots.  More information about my research can be found here.

Teaching and Service Activities

I have been involved in teaching since 2016 starting from the Embedded Systems course offered to Master students at EPFL. Currently I am serving as TA in the Signals, Instruments, and Systems (SIS), and Distributed Intelligent Systems (DIS) courses at DISAL. I am also involved in the review process of robotics journals and conferences since 2019.
