Nicolas Mora of the EMC laboratory of EPFL was the recipient of the Young Scientist Award at the Asia Electromagnetics International Symposium (ASIAEM) on August 5, 2015 in Jeju, South Korea.
ASIAEM, along with EUROEM and AMEREM are international conferences organized every two years in Asia, Europe or in North America dealing with all aspects related to high power electromagnetics, ultra-wideband, short-pulse electromagnetics, and unexploded ordnance detection.
The ASIAEM Young Scientist Award recognizes the achievements and original contributions of a scientist in the early period of his/her career (under 35 years) in the field of high power electromagnetics.
Nicolas Mora was recognized for his outstanding contributions for the development of methods for assessing the vulnerability of complex systems and critical infrastructure against the deliberate use of high power electromagnetic interference.
