Using the GESDA Science Breakthrough Radar® as its scientific compass, the Portal empowers participants to speculate on possible futures by tapping into the vast collective intelligence unleashed by generative AI. Debuting as a centerpiece of the Swiss Pavilion at the 2025 World Expo Osaka-Kansai, this interactive and immersive installation invites global citizens to ‘re-engineer’ a canvas of potential futures from their own perspectives. Participants engage parameters, including human/non-human; art, diplomacy, emotions and more—to help craft their own visions of the future across time horizons of 5, 10 and 25 years. By embracing the diverse perspectives of a global audience, this experience empowers individuals and groups from diverse cultural backgrounds to anticipate their world to come, making tangible the science of tomorrow.
