It comes from the media art Pioneer Jeffrey Shaw (born 1944, AUS), the first Version of “Fall Again, Fall Better” (2012/2020) was for the current exhibition by Sarah Kenderdine (Prof. Digital Museology, Lausanne) revised. A total of twenty groups of people on the computer modeled human figures fall like simple toy thread figures gradually in together, a domino-like falling over them entire projection screen. When viewed for a long time, the groups of figures lose their mass Stereotype and apparently “individualized”. Fall patterns become clear, but here, too, the random generator technology applies. On the basis to Samuel Beckett’s famous “Fail better.” (from: Worstward Ho!) The title of the work puts down, get up, Failure, continuation, etc. as the basic mode of the human life, which depending on how it is read as be interpreted more positively or as more negatively can.”
