“Android meets Internet of Things” took place at ESL on the 22nd February, 2025.
The room was packed, and a lot of fantastic projects were presented!
Prizes were awarded to the following projects:
First place: “SeizureGuard” by Francesco Poluzzi and François Dumoncel
This app performs real-time seizure detection from EEG signals using an AI model developed in ONNX and running on an Android device.
Second place: “AcroYoga” by Ismael Frei and Barbara de Groot
This app allows to track the progress of practitioners of AcroYoga, a discipline which combines meditation and highly acrobatic poses and moves.
Third place: “Fitness Drone” by Julian Donevsky, Océane Maroux and Robin Carlet.
This app automatically controls a Parrot Anafi drone, allowing it to follow the owner during outdoor excercises (biking, trekking, running…), using GPS tracking.
