This graduate-level course covers the fundamental and practical analysis of two-phase flow and heat transfer in various contexts including power generation, water purification, and cooling. Students will learn about the multiscale physics involved in evaporation, boiling, and condensation.
Thermodynamics and energetics I
This undergraduate-level course introduces the basic concepts of thermodynamics and heat transfer, and thermodynamic properties of matter and their calculation. The students will master the concepts of heat, mass, and momentum conservation, and apply these concepts to thermodynamic cylces and energy conversion systems.
