In the context of FAR, architecture and construction cannot be separated:
FAR is concerned with the construction of efficient architecture,
interpreted as a framework for social activities and a rival investment, as
much as it is interested in the architecture of construction, i.e. the
industrial system that enables spatial ideas to reach sound built fruition.
Thus, FAR’s work deals with actual construction and its results.
Within it, there is no difference between basic and advanced technologies,
or low-cost and high-end solutions: what counts is the understanding of
the manufacturing and building process behind any program in all its
dimensions – spatial to cultural, to economic.
