Instead of looking on discussion as a stumbling block in the way of action, we think it an indispensable preliminary to any wise action at all.
Team building at FAR is based on three principles:
- FAR has a distinctive ethos and a natural mold
- FAR seeks diversity, respects independence and tests complementarity
- FAR makes propositions but builds theory on and from experience
The members of FAR bring their individual knowledge to a common space, where it is put to the service of the others without being imposed. As a community, FAR is both a temporary physical address and a permanent intellectual abode.
