Congratulations Anna for being selected to participate in GYSS 2025

— We are very pleased to share that Dr Anna Poryvai was selected by the GYSS Organizing Committee to participate in the Global Young Scientists Summit 2025 which will be held in Singapore, 6-10 January 2025. The theme for the Summit is "Advancing Science, Creating Technologies for a Better World".

Congratulations to Pauline and Perrine for their paper in Polymers

— The research article of Pauline Skigin and Perrine Robin entitled – “Grafting-from” and “Grafting-to” Poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) Functionalization of Glass for DNA Biosensors with Improved Properties – has just been published in Polymers. We are also grateful to Dr Alireza Kavand and Dr Mounir Mensi for their key contribution to this work.

Perrine is at the 8th Int. Conf. on Bio-Sensing Technology in Sevilla

— We are pleased to share that Perrine Robin is presenting her PhD research project at the 8th International Conference on Bio-Sensing Technology in Sevilla (Spain) – 12-15 May 2024. She presents a poster entitled "DNA-Conjugated Nanoparticles for Zika Virus Detection and Lineages Identification".

— We are very pleased to welcome Sterenn Ioos at the GBF for her Master Internship. She is joining the Gene Delivery team in the group to develop polymeric-based nanocarriers as non-viral vectors for siRNA therapeutics.

  • François and Solène were the winners of the best contribution at the XXII International Conference on Bioencapsulation, Bratislava, Slovakia, September 17-19, for their poster entitled “Modification of alginate-based hydrogel microspheres for cell microencapsulation: comparison of one- and two-component hydrogel microspheres”. Congratulations!
  • Solène received the runner up Award for the Best Poster at the Swiss Chemical Society Fall Meeting 2014, Zürich, September 11, for her contribution entitled “Functionalization of second harmonic nanoparticles with inhibitors of prolyl-endopeptidases for cancer cells labelling and imaging”. Congratulations!
  • Lionel Schouwey and Julien Sautaux joined our group for their master projects. Welcome!
