I am a post-doctoral scientist in Prof. Johannes Gräff’s laboratory.
How did I end up here?
Since a young age, I have always been fascinated by the brain and the chemicals governing its complex functions. Consequently, I initiated my journey with Chemistry in India and advanced through prestigious Neuroscience institutes in the UK and Germany. Throughout my PhD, I focused on stress-resilience models utilizing the chronic social defeat stress paradigm at the Leibniz Institute of Resilience Research in Mainz, Germany. As I delved deeper into the distinctions in the epigenetic landscapes between stress-resilient and stress-susceptible populations, this fascination drew me in.
Pursuing this fascination and having had the opportunity to learn about Johannes’ work, I arrived here to delve further into the realms of stress, trauma, and epigenetics.
When I am not in the lab, you will find me exploring new places and cities or raising awareness about mental health among young kids. Wanna know more about me? Put my name in Google search ;).
