AVanCer

AVanCer, a project in collaboration with the Wyss Center, aims at designing an original tailored motor rehabilitation protocol for severely impaired chronic stroke patients. For such therapy, we are developing a set-up that combines many non-invasive neurotechnologies, which have already proven efficacious singularly. A brain-computer interface will govern robotics and functional electrical stimulation to perform upper-limb functional movements. In addition, transcranial direct current stimulation will be applied before the experimental intervention.
