The theme of the semester is the expansion of a private villa in the outskirts of Lausanne. The studio emphasized on wood construction and the possibilities of building with wood-wood connections as an efficient construction method. Students could choose the program for their annex: independent housing for a young or old person, service or an office for home working. The only constraint was to consider the characteristics of the site and of the existing building.
