Continuing Education in Sustainable Energy Systems Engineering

In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape, the urgency of addressing energy sustainability and mitigating the effects of climate change has never been more pressing.

EPFL and HES SO offer a stackable program of 4 CAS in 4 essential fields of energy systems. Each CAS (10 ECTS) can be individually completed to a DAS (30 ECTS)  with a diploma project in industry (20 ECTS). The completion of four CAS completed with a master thesis in industry allows the attainment of a MAS (60 ECTS).

This program will empower participants with advanced scientific knowledge, strategic thinking abilities, and a comprehensive approach of sustainable energy systems. By offering an interdisciplinary curriculum that blends engineering, environmental science, and science for decision making, we aim to prepare individuals to drive innovation, promote renewable energy adoption, and implement sustainable systems and practices across various industries.

Our program will serve as a catalyst for the creation of robust and sustainable energy systems, fostering a generation of professionals who can address complex energy challenges effectively.
