Energy planning becomes one of the hottest research topics in our group especially following the Fukushima Accident in 2011 and the Paris Agreement in 2015. The objective is to explore the optimal pathways for decarbonation in terms of cost minimization. The research contributes to policy makers in governments and stakeholders in industries for drawing up their optimal strategies for long-term development in energy transition.
