Abstract:
IPESE is working on Regional Multi-Energy Grids and Planning of multi-energy systems at single building and district level, which is undertaken in the frame of SCCER-FURIES in collaboration with Romande Energie, HSLU, ZHAW.
The Future Swiss Electrical Infrastructure SCCER (SCCER-FURIES) is the Swiss Competence Center mandated to develop, promote and deploy power grid-related innovative solutions toward the implementation of the Swiss Energy Strategy 2050. It was established in 2014, by the Swiss Innovation Agency and the Swiss National Science Foundation, together with 7 other Swiss Competence Centers for Energy Research to implement of the national Energy Strategy 2050.
In the frame of SCCER-FURIES, academic and industrial partners from all around Switzerland develop and share knowledge and technology. In total, 250 experts of the power grid working for 34 labs (academic partners) and 50 companies (industrial partners) contribute to the implementation of center’s work plan. Collaborations with other SCCERs enable further expansion of the pool of competences in order to address multi-discipline and multi-energy systemic issue.
IPESE-EPFL is involved in three activities within SCCER-FURIES:
Regional Multi-Energy Grids
Planning of multi-energy systems at single building and district level.
