Sampling was not performed for the chosen species in the Geneva area because of their poor presence within the urban area. The surprising absence of the two species the Meadow brown (Maniola jurtina) and the Pieris rapae in urban area might indicate that the green spaces fragmentation induced by the urbanisation process in the Geneva area has already impacted some species.
