Berner Baukulturpreis 2024

The Brückenkopf project, designed by the architectural office Bauart, of which Prof. Emmanuel Rey of the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) is a partner, was recently awarded the Berner Baukulturpreis 2024. The award is intended to recognize interdisciplinary approaches and promote Baukultur, the culture of a high-quality built environment, in the Canton of Bern.

Mention at the Prix SIA Vaud 2024

Education

Joana Dias Pinto and Melinda Papi's master project, carried out at the Laboratory of Sustainable Architecture and Technologies (LAST), has been awarded a mention at the Prix SIA Vaud 2024. Entitled “From soil to rammed earth: developing a new raw earth complex in French-speaking Switzerland”, their work explores the potential use of raw earth in the Swiss context.
