Research at the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) aims at contributing to the sustainability of the built environment by optimizing the integration modalities of environmental, socio-cultural, and economic parameters in the architectural project. To be in line with the optic of quality understood in its broadest sense, research projects focus on the emergence of new knowledge, reveal potential for innovation that can be transposed into architectural production and identify processes for optimizing the built environment on the scale of neighborhoods in transition, bioclimatic buildings or innovative components.
